Globally, over 2.25 billion cups of coffee are consumed daily, but a significant portion of this is not considered 'real' or authentic coffee by connoisseurs. This pursuit of authentic flavor often leads people to question the legitimacy of what they are drinking, distinguishing pure, high-quality coffee from cheaper, mass-produced alternatives.

Surprisingly, a single pump of mocha can vary significantly, most notably between standard syrups and the thicker sauces used by major coffee chains like Starbucks. While a typical syrup pump is 1/4 ounce, a Starbucks mocha pump, for instance, dispenses double that amount, making a substantial difference in both flavor and calories.

While the beverage we love is called 'coffee,' the "bean" that produces it is actually the processed and roasted seed of a fruit called the coffee cherry. The fruit and the seed are fundamentally different products, each with its own flavor profile and purpose.
