In November 2024, the active nutrition company 1440 Foods acquired Fitcrunch, the popular brand of high-protein baked bars, from its previous ownership, which included celebrity chef Robert Irvine. This acquisition places Fitcrunch under a new parent company, shifting its brand ownership while still maintaining its chef-crafted recipe and taste.

According to the official Pure Protein Canada website, the brand's bars are produced in Canada, while customer service inquiries on Amazon confirm that their protein powders are manufactured in the United States. This confirms that the manufacturing locations for Pure Protein products can differ based on the specific item, with production spanning different international sites.
