Most coffees fall within a pH range of 4.85 to 5.10, making them naturally acidic. Given this fact, it's clear that true, 100% acid-free coffee is a marketing myth. However, there are numerous ways to significantly reduce the acid content, resulting in what is commonly sold as "low-acid" coffee.
