Is There a Lot of Potassium in Coke Zero?

According to the Coca-Cola Company, a 12 fl oz can of Coke Zero Sugar contains a small amount of potassium, approximately 60mg, which is only about 2% of the daily value. So, while it does contain this mineral, the claim that there is a lot of potassium in Coke Zero is inaccurate. The potassium found in the drink comes from additives like potassium benzoate and acesulfame potassium, not from a significant nutritional source.
