According to the U.S. FDA, a 5% Dextrose Injection contains 5 grams of dextrose in every 100 milliliters of solution. This means that a standard 1-liter (1000 mL) bag contains 50 grams of sugar, providing a clear answer to how much sugar is in 5% dextrose.
