According to Owala's official FAQ page, their popular FreeSip bottle is "Not for use with hot, carbonated, or perishable liquids". While tempting, putting carbonated drinks in Owala bottles, particularly the FreeSip model, is not recommended due to significant safety risks from internal pressure buildup.
