According to the USDA, millions of Americans receive SNAP benefits via an EBT card, and many wonder, "Can you buy groceries off Amazon with EBT?". The answer is a resounding yes; Amazon accepts EBT for eligible food purchases through its main online store, Amazon Fresh, and Whole Foods Market.

As part of a USDA-sponsored pilot program, Amazon began accepting SNAP EBT benefits, which includes California's CalFresh program, in 2020. This means millions of Californians can now conveniently use their CalFresh EBT on Amazon to shop for eligible groceries and have them delivered directly to their doorstep.
