According to a July 2025 UN report, more than one in five people in Africa—approximately 307 million—were chronically undernourished in 2024, revealing the scale of how many people in Africa don't have access to food. This critical issue, driven by complex and interconnected factors, continues to worsen despite global progress in other regions.

Despite the world producing enough food to feed everyone, over 2.3 billion people faced moderate or severe food insecurity in 2024, a number significantly higher than before the pandemic. Addressing this complex crisis requires collective action across multiple sectors. So, how can we end food insecurity and build a more resilient global food system?
