Historically, traditional Cypriot halloumi was made in a semi-circular shape and weighed between 220–270 grams. The weight of a modern, commercially-sold block of halloumi, however, can vary significantly depending on the brand and packaging, typically ranging from 200g to 250g for standard retail packs.
